PLEASE READ THIS CLAUSE
We do not store credit card details, nor do we share customer information with any third parties whatsoever.
Delivery/installations will be completed within the agreed timescale upon deposit of the order.
A deposit or full payment is required from the customer to secure the installation date and order of goods.
Assessment fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated upon confirmation of the assessment date and receipt of payment.
Supplying your own unbranded equipment:
Please take the following conditions into account before making a reservation. Even though we always strive to be fair, it's important to note that we will not be liable for any faults that may occur with the provided Chinese equipment due to low quality, lack of accurate installation instructions, or lack of manufacturer or supplier support. We have encountered numerous issues with these products, such as incompatibilities, missing components, defective software, and instructions that provide no assistance.
If you are providing the parts for installation, please be aware that we are not responsible for any faults during installation or for the warranty of the parts. In the event that the parts you supply fail during installation, there will be a charge to remove and refit the replacement item.
Any time spent attempting to rectify issues with the provided products after installation will incur additional charges. (15 minutes of free time is permitted.)
Payments must be made in full upfront when supplying your own equipment to initiate the booking.
If the provided equipment is incompatible or faulty upon installation, refunds are not applicable because of the time allocated for the customer's booked installation.
We appreciate your understanding and trust with us when installing Chinese products. Thank you.
Advice given by Max Sound Car Audio about customer-supplied items is merely intended as a recommendation; you should confirm this with the vendor from whom you are getting your goods.
We are unable to 100% guarantee the accuracy of any parts that we do not supply because they may have been delivered inaccurately by the supplier or contain inaccurate information on their website.
As a result, we are not responsible for any expenditures incurred as a result of improper parts supplied by another business.
All parts/screens including android apple interfaces supplied by the customer are liable to elevate anything additional required to retain cameras etc and not the installer.
This is because the installation instructions are frequently unclear or written in a language other than English, which makes the initial setup of the device very challenging or impossible.
The aforementioned conditions must be taken into account before making a reservation, even though we always work to be fair about setup after installation.
Please take note of the following terms:
- Call out deposit charges are non-refundable due to travel time and fuel costs.
- If a deposit is paid, the outstanding funds must be paid in full on the day of completion.
- Full refunds can only be made up to 24 hours after the order has been confirmed or on the condition that no items/parts have been ordered. Otherwise, restocking fees per item will be charged to cover return courier costs and restocking fees from the suppliers.
- Items supplied by the customer require full payment for labour upfront. This is because the supplied goods may be faulty or incompatible for the vehicle, for which we are not accountable.
If the agreed installation date is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled date, the full deposit paid will be forfeited to cover the lost time and labour costs for the booked installation.
If the customer is not present at the agreed installation address on the scheduled day/time, has not contacted us, or is unreachable, deposits / payments will be lost to compensate for the time and day set aside for the installation, covering the lost pay for labour.
If on arrival the install is cancelled by the customer a £150 charge is applied to cover travel , fuel and unused time lost because of the cancellation .
If the booking is cancelled on the same day then again deposit for labour of installation will be lost .
If on the day of completion of installation customer supplied parts fail or are incorrect and cause non completion, any deposit will be lost and used against call out costs and labour used on the day.
All items ordered via the customers request for installation are subject to a 50% return restock charge if not used by the customer on each installation plus postage per item .
All parts come with a full 12 months warranty unless they have been subjected to any kind of water ingress due to damp, user damage or condensation which will make the warranty void!
6.1 If you have notified us of a problem with the goods within 30 days of delivery, the installer/sub contractor will either make good any shortage or non-delivery; replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective upon delivery/installed (supplied by us, goods only)
6.1.1
Goods that have been damaged via water ingress / damp / condensation will invalidate the manufacturer warranty.
6.2 We shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than any refund we make under these conditions.
If a customer fails to be at the property of installation without notifying us when obtaining a call out/booking for repair or replacement parts service, then any further return call outs will be charged subject to mileage, time travelling and fuel costs.
This includes jobs cancelled due to non delivery of goods or bad weather cancelling installs due to no fault of the company involved .
Our liability to you shall not in any event include losses related to any business of yours, such as loss of profits or business interruption inc time out of work ;
neither will we be responsible to you for any other loss which is not a foreseeable consequence of us being in breach of these Terms and Conditions or our legal duties.
Refunds can take up to 7 working days to clear back to original source of payment …Thank you..
6.3 This does not affect your statutory rights if you are a consumer, nor is it intended to exclude our liability to you for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
6.4 The customer is responsible for any goods provided by themselves therefore we can not be held responsible for any faults that may occur with the product or to the vehicle that the customer has supplied inc no warranty can be given from us for provided goods by the customer .
6.5 Goods are intended for use in the UK only and we cannot confirm that the goods comply with any laws,
regulations or other standards applicable outside the UK. All goods are sold in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and are subject to any qualifications,
representations or instructions contained in the documentation associated with the goods.
6.6 If you are a trade customer and subject to Clause 6.3, we will not be responsible to you or,
in the event that you are undertaking work for another person, to any other person, for the use or installation of any goods by you.
Accordingly, if you are a trade customer, you hereby agree to hold us harmless, and indemnify us against any liability associated with,
any claim or allegation that we are responsible for any failings in the installation or use of goods that we supply.
All work carried out is guaranteed by the installer we have subcontracted to for a full 12 months inc parts subject to section 6.4 and are exempt to any miss use of goods ( this does not include any parts/items the customer has provided ) .
If a fault occurs after installation then an inspection from us the supplier can be carried out to inspect any damage to the goods before either repair or replacement.
Goods will NOT be covered by our warranty/refund if a 3rd party company have intervened in any way
Goods that are faulty will be repaired or replaced within a 12 month period of installation but not refunded under any conditions including change of mind or inadequate performance due to an incorrect customer choice of agreement of products upon ordering.
We have a duty and right to inspect a fault if one ever occurs, correct/repair (not refund) according to the fault in question
6.5 Customers having installation work carried out in any of our fitting bays must leave the car with us as they won`t be covered by our insurance if they trip or fall within the working area
The mobile installation provided is for the first main install of goods.
Repair work to installation or products after 2 weeks if required is to be carried out at our premises only.
Corrosion or neglect / abuse to goods will not be covered under warranty!
Upon installation sometimes vehicles can require additional extra adapter leads or at a later date can require additional leads which will be at a cost to the customer parts, labour and call out. This can be due to manufacture changes to certain vehicles which are not standard ie different canbus data or old stock from previous models which we can not be held liable for
Because we provide a part nationwide installation service, we contract our work out using only professional established installers due to the scale of our business and traveling distances, therefore providing all our customers with a interminable first class service and knowing the installer will be close by for the installation work to be carried out .
